Fun with Grandma

One of the days it snowed we decided to go into Roanoke and have some fun together. It snowed the whole way there and about 15 mins away from our exit we got stopped in traffic because of an accident and we had to wait for 2 hours in the car.

It wasn't as bad as it first seemed. The girls were great. We went and played in the snow in between the cars, made snow cones, the girls drew some pictures with Grandma, we made snowballs and threw them at the car windows where Grandma and Grandpa were sitting, danced to music, shared snacks, and such. Oh and Grandpa taught Avery how to drive ;)

It was fun and a little annoying having to wait that long. But a memory that the girls and I will have of the fun we did with Grandma and Grandpa.

Fun with Grandpa

While my parents were down for Avery's birth it snowed a couple days. Zoie enjoys to play in the snow and her, Charlotte and Grandpa went outside and played for about an hour or longer.

They built a snow house, 2 huge snowman, 4 little snowman in the road for cars to run over, threw snow at each other and so much more. The girls had a blast shoveling and playing.

Sticker Fun

It is SNOWING!!!! The last week by 10 am the girls have been outside playing and running around. Well, not this morning because of the snow and it's so dang cold!

Charlotte found some stickers and sat down and started putting them on her face, then Zoie started to do the same and then they decided I needed to have some on my face too and went ahead and put them on. It was a lot of fun. I love being silly with my girls.

*oh and here are a few sweet pictures of Avery*

Avery's Tummy Time

Avery loves to be on his stomach. He spends the majority of his time on his stomach. Yesterday morning he worked on his neck muscles. He's got such a cute face and I love those baby blue eyes!

Charlotte's first haircut

Charlotte had her first haircut this morning, well sort of. She got bangs. We can now see her beautiful face!! She's not the baby anymore, she's growing up. :)

Avery's One Month

I know I haven't done his birth story yet, but I just couldn't wait to post some of his one month pictures. Thanks to my friend Erin for taking them. They are beautiful!

I can't believe he is one month already. Time flies so much quicker now. He weighs 9lbs even. He loves the heat so much. He will sleep forever on his stomach all cuddled up next to the heater. He loves his sisters very much. I know this to be true because he lets them love on him and play with him so much, whether he is awake or asleep. I love our little handsome boy!

Workin' at the Car Wash

Another beautiful day here! I'm loving days where the sun is out and it is nice and warm. We spent majority of our day outside today. Went to the park, the library, ate dinner outside, and then I put the girls to work and they helped me wash our van.

They had so much fun mixing the soap into the water, scrubbing the car, rinsing it off, getting each other wet and playing in the water. We had so much fun and created fun memories.

I was cuddling with Zoie at bedtime tonight and this was our conversation:
Z: "when it rains again, we will have to wash the car again"
M: "yep we will"
Z: "I can't wait for it to rain!"
haha... she is so funny and cute. {she also kept talking about how she was going to wash Grandpa's car with a pink wash cloth. We skyped with him earlier that morning and she told him we were washing our car and that she'd wash his too when we visit}

They are so willing to help. They were so proud of themselves. They loved seeing how the car was so clean and shiny. They both ran inside and told Dad to come out and look at what they did. When Dad came out Zoie says,"So dad, how you think? We cleaned and washed it really good." :)

Soaked from head to toe, never a dull moment with these girls.
