Camera Fun

Charlotte has been taking a really long nap today, so the rest of us decided to have some fun taking a few photos of us together. I love times like these!

Kitchen Decor

I totally love antique windows, if you don't already know that. I added one to our kitchen and I love the touch it brings and the saying even more. :)  Plus an extra photo of me and the kids just having some fun with the camera!

Small & Simple Window

I love antique windows! I searched everywhere to find some and found some at an old antique store in our town. They weren't exactly what I wanted, but I made do. I really want an old long 9-12 panel window! So if you know where I can get some let me know.

At the beginning of the year I read a few books about simplicity and how the little things in life matter most. So I wanted to have a little reminder for me and my family that it's the small and simple things in life that matter. And here is what I came up with.

Carnival

Last Weekend we went to our towns Carnvial. We had so much fun. Zoie was able to ride more rides and Charlotte was able to do a couple this year too. Ryan took them on the rides and I hung out with a sleeping baby on my chest and took pictures. I love seeing the joy and happiness shine through their eyes when they are having fun and experiencing new things.

Charlotte had a meltdown, because she wanted to go on the dragon rollercoaster, but she was to small. Poor girl, I felt so bad, but hopefully next year she'll be able to ride it. We walked to the carnival which was the best thing! It was about 1/2 a mile or almost a mile walk one way. It tired the girls out and they slept great that night!

This little girl loves popcorn

She was dancing to the music while eating her popcorn

Sorry it's blurry, but you can just see the pure joy smiling through Charlotte's face.

Memorial Day

We went strawberry picking again on Memorial Day. It was even better this year doing it with just our family. The girls loved it and Avery slept through it all.

It was a beautiful day. We showed up around 10am and decided that next year we are going to leave by 8am and beat the rush and get a bunch more strawberries. After picking we enjoyed some homemade strawberry ice cream. It was the best Memorial Day ever! I love my family!
