Avery's One Month

I know I haven't done his birth story yet, but I just couldn't wait to post some of his one month pictures. Thanks to my friend Erin for taking them. They are beautiful!

I can't believe he is one month already. Time flies so much quicker now. He weighs 9lbs even. He loves the heat so much. He will sleep forever on his stomach all cuddled up next to the heater. He loves his sisters very much. I know this to be true because he lets them love on him and play with him so much, whether he is awake or asleep. I love our little handsome boy!

Rainy Day Fun

Workin' at the Car Wash

Another beautiful day here! I'm loving days where the sun is out and it is nice and warm. We spent majority of our day outside today. Went to the park, the library, ate dinner outside, and then I put the girls to work and they helped me wash our van.

They had so much fun mixing the soap into the water, scrubbing the car, rinsing it off, getting each other wet and playing in the water. We had so much fun and created fun memories.

I was cuddling with Zoie at bedtime tonight and this was our conversation:
Z: "when it rains again, we will have to wash the car again"
M: "yep we will"
Z: "I can't wait for it to rain!"
haha... she is so funny and cute. {she also kept talking about how she was going to wash Grandpa's car with a pink wash cloth. We skyped with him earlier that morning and she told him we were washing our car and that she'd wash his too when we visit}

They are so willing to help. They were so proud of themselves. They loved seeing how the car was so clean and shiny. They both ran inside and told Dad to come out and look at what they did. When Dad came out Zoie says,"So dad, how you think? We cleaned and washed it really good." :)

Soaked from head to toe, never a dull moment with these girls.

Jump-o-lene Story Time

This week I decided that we aren't going to watch any TV. We watched so much TV after Avery was born and I figured that it was time to start getting back into a routine and do things together. It has been a great thing. The girls are great, they are happier, they are exhausted, and they behave better.

It was time to settle down before nap time and I told them we could read books and they wanted to read books in the jump-o-lene that Grandma and Grandpa got them. They love the jump-o-lene so much and so do I, because they use a lot of their energy bouncing around. The girls each picked a book and sat in the jump-o-lene and read silently to themselves for a while. It was the cutest thing ever. I love these girls!

Dirt Dough Fun

Saturday was a beautiful, sunny day. I tried to do as much stuff with girls as I could outside. They have so much fun outside and are so much happier. Plus anything beats staying inside!

So after nap time we went outside and made some dirt dough with baking soda and water. I put it in some bins and had Zoie and Charlotte dump all their stuff in their own bin and pick a color. Then we got some trucks, spoons, cups, and dinosaurs for them to play in. They had so much fun and played with the dough for about an hour in a half and Avery slept in the carrier on me the whole time. It was amazing! Enjoy the pictures.
