Clark County Fair: Animals

Zoie was so excited to see Grandma and Grandpa. They were so excited too and couldn't wait to show her all the fun stuff at the fair. One of the fun things to do was going to see all the animals! She loved it and was very happy. Here are some pictures. She got to pet and/or see a horse, goat, pigs, ducks, rabbits, chickens, peacocks, sheep, cows, and much more. She was in animal heaven!

This was the cutest thing ever. The horse would bend down so Zoie could pet him. Zoie loved it and didn't want to leave her new friend. It was so sweet!

We had a great day seeing all the animals and spending time with each other. I love my family so much! We have so much fun together!

My Mom!

Happy Mother's Day to my Mom! I love you and am so grateful to be your daughter. You are an extraordinary, strong, loving, fun, compassionate, talented woman. I couldn't of asked for anyone better to look up too.

You always have the right thing to say when I need advice and help and know how to make me feel loved and special! You are always there when I need you, even though I'm like 3000 miles away from you. You love me no matter what and that's all I need to keep me going.
I am a mom today because of you. I can do all that I do because of you.
I know I can be strong because you are strong and are there to help hold me up!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day

Mother's Day was one of the best ones yet! First off the girls slept in their own beds all night, Charlotte got up once for a feeding. That was great. I got a goods night rest. 

Second, Zoie got up early came in and cuddle with me, her arm around my back (it was the sweetest thing ever), then she heard Charlotte wake up a while later and then slowly snuck out of bed, grabbed my hand, gave it a kiss and said "I love you mommy" then went to get Charlotte. I loved that moment and was the happiest mom in the world! 

Third, the girls and Ryan had made me a bouquet of paper flowers with their handprints and footprints and I love yous all over them and some of my favorite candy! It was cute. 

Fourth, Ryan made me one of my favorite meal, pot roast with potatoes and carrots! It was delicious. 

Fifth, we just hung out and played games and colored and dance all day! It was the best Mother's Day! I love my husband and I love my girls!!

FHE Activity

For FHE tonight, we explored our creativity as a family. It was a lot of fun and the girls loved every minute. I think they loved getting dirty. Charlotte I think enjoyed the texture and all the different colors. Zoie loved making handprints and footprints. It was a lot fun and we had a good time with each other. Zoie's Afternoon Prayer

Playing with Zoie this afternoon with some bubble wrap and we stop for a minute and she turns around and has her hands clasped together and says this:

"I wish all my heart to fly dragon land,

in name of Jesus Christ,

please I really wish all my heart

to fly dragon land,

Mommy, Charlotte come on

Amen."

Can you tell we've been watching a lot of Dragon Tales this week?! I love Zoie. She is so much fun and her imagination is endless! Love her little prayers! Maybe I'll figure out how to make this wish come true for her this summer. :)

Coolest walk ever!

Zoie was so excited to see this and we followed it as long as we could. She was so happy and kept saying "that so cool, mommy."  She can't stop talking about it. It's moments like these that make being a mom the best ever! I love seeing her so happy and so excited to talk about something!

Visiting Grandma and Grandpa

We spent the last month{april} in Vegas visiting with my entire family! It was great and tons of fun. We told Zoie we were going to visit Grandma and Grandpa two weeks before we left. Oh my goodness, I will never do that again. She asked every day "lets go airplane see Grandpa and Grandma." Towards the end she started to name everyone off. It was really cute.

To make the plane ride a little easier we decided to get Zoie a backpack that she can put her stuff in and carry around. She picked it out and was very excited to have her own backpack. Once she got it, she put her toys in and put it on and said "ready to go airplane see Grandpa!"

The girls were great on the flight out until the very end. They started to get antsy and such, but overall it was great! We stayed the night with my Grandmere and Grandpere because we got in so late. It was nice to see Grandpere again and have the girls spend some time with him. The next morning we drove in to see my family! It was so exciting. We got there and everyone was home and everyone started to play games and hang out. It was nice. 

Zoie jumped on the trampoline with Aunt Tilda and Aunt Shelby and loved it so much! It was a daily activity of hers. She hid with Aunt Shelby to scare Grandpa. Charlotte took a nap with Grandma.  She had a movie night in the living room with Aunt Blythe, Uncle Dozer, Grandpa and Charlotte. Zoie and Charlotte had a blast playing with there cousin Elliot.  She visited with her Great Grandparents and Great Uncle Matt. It was nice to be home and see everyone again.

 That was just the beginning of their adventures!
